How to Check Diode Working Condition

I'm going to show you how to use a multi meter to test a diode. It's a very simple process. Most multi meters have a setting for testing diodes. If you see a diode symbol right there, you can rarely use it. Can be used if you remember what a diode is basically a one-way valve so that it can talk for electricity so that it In the direction the lightning lets it flow there is a block electron that tries to pass through it in the other direction and if you look closely it is not a good example of this, but you can see that there is a white mark on one end here. An excellent example of a common diode is if you look closely you can see a white or gray band. The end or white band of the diode represents the negative side called the cathode.

How to Test Diode

So technically this is called anode and cathode but it is the positive and negative side of this diode and hence how it is placed in the circuit in the aura. To test whether the current of the diode determines whether the current will flow through it, here we set our multi meter to just the right setting and we bring it up and touch the negative lead and the positive lead on the negative side of the diode. The reading between the side and the typical reading should be somewhere between 0.2 and 0.6 or 0.7 volts, which shows that the diode lets it flow in one direction. Now we reverse the leads and touch them in the opposite direction and the state oh l Should continue to say,

Which means it should be out of range now, if it gives no read when the diode is biased, it gives no reading when we bias the diode. We have a good diode that applies to all these diodes that I have no reading here and I have a good reading. They are only under five points. This is also a diode, although it has got a little bit different shape. We just showed that all of these diodes are good for how you can test a diode using your multi meter.
